Embarr Riding Academy is a private, modern facility situated on 15 acres of woodland. We are located in the Goulds, just 15 minutes from downtown St. John's. Our 15-acre property houses a state-of-the-art indoor arena and a spectacular outdoor arena. For the nature lover, Embarr borders miles of scenic trails.

Indoor Arena

We boast the largest indoor arena in the province, measuring 70' x 168', and our footing, which is a beautiful sand/silt mixture, is beyond compare. In addition to being bright and spacious, our indoor arena houses 10 modern stalls and a heated tack room.

Lounge

Upstairs in our indoor arena, there is a heated observation/seating area with a kitchenette and washroom facility. Our lounge is the perfect place to relax after a long ride or to celebrate that special occasion with your family and friends.

Outdoor Arena 

Our outdoor arena, which measures 200' x 200', is built to national equestrian standards. Tucked in among the spruce trees, it's the perfect place to school a horse and enjoy the fresh air.

Turnouts 

On weather permitting days, our horses enjoy lazy days in the many turnouts nestled among the spruce trees. In the summer months, they are on 24-hour turnout.
